
Lisa Martin, PhD
Lisa Martin’s global work focuses on reducing the impacts of providing stigmatized care and social change efforts around women’s reproductive health and gender equity. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities and determining social and environmental determinants of health. She also serves as the current Director of the Women’s and Gender Studies (WGST) program. She has current collaborations with International Planned Parenthood Federation Western Hemisphere Region (IPPF-WHR), and Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) Global and Marie Stopes International (MSI) to bring their intervention, the Provider Share Workshop, to Latin American and East Africa, including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Colombia, Peru, and Guatemala.
