Protecting human rights to reduce health disparities
Michele Heisler’s global health work focuses on health outcomes and disparities. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Heisler’s work aims to strengthen conditions to protect human rights and social determinants of health. Her research focuses on behavioral interventions and implementation science within health systems to create better linkages between primary care and community resources.
