Naheed Khan, PhD, MS

Naheed Khan’s global work focuses on animal models of human disorders and human retinal degenerative diseases. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of providing technical solutions. Khan’s research works with theoretical conceptual frameworks for treating hereditary retinal dystrophies and electrophysiological tools to identify and monitor retinal function during the course of treatment trials. She also aims to develop objective measures to evaluate retinal function in order to provide care to patients with inherited retinal degenerations.
