Health education, vascular anomalies
Nathaniel Lartey’s global work focuses on advancing the knowledge and treatment of vascular anomalies in humans. His interest in global health equity aligns with the Center’s themes of strengthening systems for health and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Lartey’s research has generated novel insights in the understanding of pathogenesis of certain vascular abnormalities, which include capillary malformation-arteriovenous malformation (CM-AVM) and vein of Galen malformation (VGAM).
