Mental health, family education, climate change adaptations, non-communicable diseases

Pamela Wadende's global work focuses on downstream determinants of non-communicable diseases in urban and rural settings. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center's themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health, strengthening systems for health, and empowering women. Wadende also focuses on the impact of climate change on mental health illnesses among underserved communities. As an educationist, she is interested in the education and flourishing of family members.
