Krishnan (Raghu) Raghavendran, MBBS

Therapeutic strategies for direct lung injuries and ARDS

Krishnan Raghavendran’s global work focuses on studying trauma care systems and alignment in the developing world. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems of health and providing technical solutions. Raghavendran has established research collaborations between India and the University of Michigan Medical School. He serves as a lead physician for the University of Michigan-India collaborative, a distinct part of the Global REACH program, where he focuses on the delivery of trauma care in India. He is also working on similar collaborative projects in Ethiopia and Taiwan.
