Rama Mwenesi's global work focuses on applying implementation science and learning health systems strategies to design and implement scalable, reliable, and culturally appropriate systems to improve care quality and patient safety in medical and surgical global health settings. His interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women and communities, strengthening systems for global health equity, and designing technical solutions. Mwenesi’s work looks at patient safety systems strengthening to reduce the recurrence of serious preventable adverse events in global surgery.
