Healthcare delivery for high-risk and marginalized populations
Rogério Pinto’s global work focuses on the roles and outcomes of diverse health care systems and how health care policies and training can influence health care practitioner involvement in research and delivery of evidence-based services to marginalized populations. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of strengthening systems of health. Pinto's research examines personal, interpersonal, and environmental factors that influence the participation of ethnic individuals in research and health care systems. He is an expert in community based participatory research and mixed-method research in the United States, Brazil, and Spain.
