Ruth Zielinski, PhD, CNM, FACNM

Maternal health education

Ruth Zielinski’s global work focuses on enhancing education to improve maternal health in community settings, with a focus on midwifery programs. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of empowering women and communities. Zielinski’s research focuses on women’s health around body image, sexuality, and maternal health both regionally and globally. She leads an ongoing project conducting doula workshops in South Sudanese refugee communities in northern Uganda.
