Efe Chantal Ghanney Simons' global work focuses on evaluating global surgery initiatives and their potential to train upcoming surgeons/trainees in Sub-Saharan Africa. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health, strengthening systems for health, and empowering women. Ghanney Simons is specifically concerned about the sustainable transfer of surgeon-specific skills.
