Sheryl (Sherri) Olson, PhD

Developmental and social processes related to child and adolescent adjustment, development of emotion regulation and social cognition

Sherri Olson's global work focuses on the impact of developmental and social processes on common adjustment problems across childhood, particularly high levels of disruptive, aggressive behavior. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health and strengthening systems for health. She is committed to developing brief intervention strategies to help promote well-being and emotional self-regulation in underserved populations of children and families.
