Sue Anne Bell’s global work focuses on the health and well-being of aging populations in the context of a disaster. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems for health and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Bell investigates the long-term health impact of disasters in a changing climate with an emphasis on chronic health conditions. She examines the relationship between community resilience, aging, and disasters to inform emergency response.
