Susan Goold’s global work focuses on understanding public perspectives on the distribution of healthcare resources and spending. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities, strengthening systems for health, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Goold’s research aims to engage minority and underserved communities in health policy research and in deliberations about the fair use of limited resources. She investigates conflicts of interest in medicine and biomedical research with consideration for public health ethics and equity.
