Uttam Sharma is an Impact Scholar at the Center whose global work focuses on the intersection of health and education in improving the lives of people from disadvantaged groups. His research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women and communities, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and designing technical solutions for health equity. Sharma is a development economist with a deep interest in education and health issues. His work at the Center will contribute to the Chitwan Valley Family Study in Nepal.
