Yi-Su Chen’s global health focus encompasses public goods, ranging from public health to environmental sustainability (such as clean energy) and humanitarian support (including improving working conditions, the removal of modern slavery, and more). Her interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of strengthening systems for health, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and developing technical solutions. Chen’s current research projects align with SDG goals #3 (good health and well-being), #7 (affordable and clean energy), and #17 (partnerships for the goals), with plans to expand to SDG #12 (responsible consumption and production) and SDG #8 (decent work and economic growth)."
