Mark Prince, MD

Otolaryngology and cancer research
Mark Prince’s global work focuses on enhancing educational and research structures that support the development of health care providers and public health research. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Prince co-leads a collaborative education initiative with the ENT department at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana. His research laboratory published the first report of the identification of cancer stem cells in head and neck squamous cell cancer.
