Michael Kheir's global health work focuses on enhancing education and access to care, with a particular interest in Central America and Asia. His interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of strengthening systems for health and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Kheir's research focuses on studying delayed access to care and its impact on patient outcomes, specifically focusing on conditions like arthritis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
