Diagnostic exam technologies, women's health, sexual and reproductive care

Marilyn Filter's global work focuses on improving access to sexual and reproductive diagnostic exams through the development of minimally invasive tools and practices. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women and developing technical solutions. She is currently focused on the development of FemScope Calm Collect, an endoscopic device used to visualize the vagina, cervix, and anal areas, without necessitating the patient to position themselves in the vulnerable traditional position.
