Robert (Bob) Neumar, MD, PhD

Robert Neumar’s global work focuses on providing access to emergency medical care across the globe, specifically in low resource areas. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems of health and providing technical solutions. He has expertise in the field of cardiac arrest resuscitation and traumatic brain injury. His clinical research focuses on optimizing the management of post-cardiac arrest syndrome, as well as therapeutic strategies to improve neurologic outcomes such as therapeutic hypothermia.
