Priscilla Njenga, MMed, MBChB
Priscilla Njenga’s global health focus centers on strengthening cancer diagnostics and pathology services in low-resource settings through pathology informatics, digital health, and laboratory systems improvement. She is particularly interested in improving diagnostic quality, structured data capture, cancer surveillance, and equitable access to high-quality pathology services across sub-Saharan Africa. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of strengthening systems for health and developing technical solutions. Njenga’s research focuses on cancer diagnostics, pathology informatics, and laboratory systems strengthening in resource-constrained settings. Building on prior work in breast cancer biomarkers, molecular oncopathology, HPV-associated disease, and digital pathology, her current interests include pathology informatics, laboratory information systems, implementation science, cancer surveillance, and computational approaches aimed at improving diagnostic quality and access to pathology services across sub-Saharan Africa.
