Philip Veliz's global work focuses on reducing infant mortality and improving access to healthcare to ensure better health outcomes for underserved populations. His interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Veliz's research explores the development and adaptation of male-engaged group family planning interventions in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement, aiming to pilot test these strategies to enhance reproductive health outcomes.
