Rob Stephenson, PhD

Sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, sexual and gender minority health, and intervention development testing
Rob Stephenson’s global work focuses on the development and testing of interventions that aim to improve sexual health outcomes, with a particular focus on HIV prevention among sexual and gender minority populations in the US and globally. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Stephenson has a long history of work in women’s sexual and reproductive health, with a specific focus on family planning and maternal health issues in resource poor countries.
