Raymond De Vries’s global work focuses on social, ethical, and policy issues associated with cesarean section. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities and strengthening systems for health. De Vries’s research examines the export of western moral traditions to non-western societies and regulation of science and scientific knowledge. His work focuses on education and training to build capacity in low- and middle-income countries.
