Spatial and environmental architectural design for health infrastructure
Robert Adams’s global work focuses on developing spatial and environmental design strategies at the intersection of architecture and health infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on equity for disabled persons. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems for health, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and creating technical solutions. Adams’s work enhances architectural strategies to emphasize and reconsider the efficacy of disability using advanced geometry, immersive perceptual configurations, and responsive networks. He has worked extensively in China to design equitable health infrastructure.
