Sarah Hawley, PhD

Sarah Hawley's global work focuses on understanding and improving the quality of cancer care and decision-making across the continuum from screening through survivorship in Ghana. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health, empowering women and communities, and developing technical solutions. Hawley's research aims to enhance patient-provider communication and promote shared decision-making in cancer prevention and control. She is particularly focused on developing and testing interventions to improve the decision-making process for patients and their families.
