Suzan Song's global work focuses on formal and informal care systems for mental health and psychosocial family support. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of strengthening systems for health, empowering women and communities, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Song builds programs for children and families with serious mental health and protection needs in humanitarian settings (war/armed conflict, natural/man-made disasters, climate emergencies, political violence, etc.).
