Todd Favorite, PhD

Todd Favorite’s global work focuses on extensive training in the treatment of PTSD and chronic depression in response to natural disasters. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of strengthening systems for health. Favorite has worked over a period of four years in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake to provide trauma and stress reduction for displaced persons, developing a culturally tailored intervention for adults and children in the “displaced persons camps.” He has worked in rural Nepal to support a regional medical clinic providing the only health care in Bhotechaur and surrounding villages.
