Tanya Rosenblat, PhD
Tanya Rosenblat’s global work focuses on combating HIV/AIDS and malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa through the education of underserved populations and training of healthcare workers. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health, empowering women and communities, and developing technical solutions for health equity. Rosenblat's recent work looks at how people form beliefs and how the news media reports on and informs these beliefs. She has used large language models to analyze news data at scale. She also studies how social networks affect behaviors and the role of non-cognitive skills in labor markets. Tanya's work uses laboratory, online, and field experiments (randomized control trials).
