Rouba Ali-Fehmi, MD

she/her/hers
Bidirectional training, breast cancer, gynecologic malignancy

Rouba Ali-Fehmi’s global work focuses on breast pathology and gynecologic pathology, with a particular interest in medical- and health-related topics in Arab countries and the Arab-American population. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women and communities, strengthening systems for health equity, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Her research includes the histopathology and biological characteristics of ovarian and uterine malignancy, and she is involved in the training and mentoring of the next generation of pathologists. She is the past president of the National Arab American Medical Association (NAAMA) and established NAAMA NextGen.
