Nate Nessle, DO

Mixed methods, implementation science, childhood cancer, sickle cell disease

Nate Nessle is a Global Health Equity Field Scholar with the Center. His global work focuses on the use of mixed methods and implementation science to address high impact gaps in sickle cell disease and cancer care delivery, guidelines, and supportive care for children with cancer in sub-Saharan Africa and displaced people groups. His global health equity interests align with the Center’s theme of strengthening systems for health equity. Nessle’s research looks at risk stratification and effective implementation of adaptive fever guidelines in children with cancer in North America and Kenya. He also works collaboratively with colleagues in Kenya to comprehensively improve sickle cell disease care.
