Designing medical devices for implementation

Jesse Austin-Breneman’s global work focuses on tailoring devices to intended health systems in order to promote successful health outcomes through designing medical devices for implementation. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of strengthening systems for health. Austin-Breneman has research interests in interdisciplinary design optimization, design of product eco-systems, design for emerging markets, socially-engaged design, and modeling of team-based design decision-making.
