Burden of cancer in low- and middle- income countries

Laura Rozek’s global work focuses on application of genomics and epigenomics as they relate to human nutrition, environmental exposures, and cancer etiology. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and providing technical solutions. Rozek's cancer research focuses on people in countries that experience disproportionate hazardous environmental exposures and a lack of access to screening and preventative measures.
