Shane Quinonez, MD

Clinical genetics and pediatrics

Shane Quinonez’s global work focuses on the expansion of medical genetic services throughout low and middle-income countries. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems for health, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and providing technical solutions. Quinonez’s research utilizes mobile application development and deployment for data collection and focuses on the optimization of international medical electives to reduce the impact on the host country.
