Rick Neitzel, PhD, MS
Rick Neitzel’s global work focuses on the characterization and control of exposures to noise and ototoxic agents, psychosocial stressors, injury risk factors, and a range of adverse health effects associated with these exposures. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities, strengthening systems of health, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and providing technical solutions. His research, and the research of his team in the Exposure Research lab, takes place in occupational and community settings both domestically and abroad. His interest in incorporating new methodological approaches to his research has allowed him to translate his research findings into occupational and public health practice.
