Scott Greer, PhD

he/himhis
Public health politics, European integration, disaster response and resilience, aging

Scott Greer's global work focuses on health politics and policymaking, especially as they relate to pandemic and disaster responses. His research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and strengthening systems for health. He also leads a project on the politics of healthy aging to challenge the incorrect notion that aging societies have higher healthcare costs, creating intergenerational tension. Greer grounds all his work in the advancement of the sustainable development goals to live healthier lives.
