
Joseph Kolars is founding director of the Center for Global Health Equity, senior associate dean and professor of medicine in the University of Michigan Medical School, and director of the medical school’s Global REACH program.

John Ayanian is senior advisor for the Center and holds professorships in the Medical School, School of Public Health and Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. He is the director of the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation (IHPI).

Amy Conger is the managing director of the Center. Prior to joining CGHE, Amy served as the Associate Vice Provost and Director of Global Engagement at the University of Michigan. She has lived and worked in Belgium, Kyrgyzstan, and South Africa and has supported educational collaborations in numerous locations worldwide. Amy holds a faculty appointment in the School of Education's Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education.
